God’s Way is Best

When my heart aches, and is full of pain,

I try to look up, I should not complain,

God makes no mistakes, of that I am sure,

And though it hurts, His mercies endure,

He has a reason, for the pain that I feel,

And comfort He gives, as I face each ordeal,

My heart often cries, O dear Lord why,

Because I love you, His tender reply,

I lack understanding, and feel the pain,

Of a heart that is broken, as I strive for Christ’s gain,

The pain is intense, and hard to endure,

But in Christ I’ll rest, safe and secure,

It gives me such peace, knowing He’s in control,

Even in trials, He’s there to console,

No matter what happens, I have nothing to fear,

God’s at the helm, and the right course He’ll steer,

I may never learn, the real reasons why,

Till some sweet day, I reach my home in the sky,

But I’ll continue to trust Him, and follow His direction,

I know the way that He leads, is nothing short of perfection,
