It Is Worth It All

Though the road may be rocky, and the path may be steep,

It is worth every struggle, God’s commandments to keep,

When the going gets tough, don’t give up, no not now,

There is too much to live for, though you may ask just how,

As all those around you, live for the world,

It is hard to stay focused, when Satan’s darts are hurled,

A load of temptations, daily come your way,

It would be oh so easy, to quickly go astray,

But you serve one who’s greater, than the trials that you face,

He knows all you go through, and gives strength in each case,

God has a plan, He does not make mistakes,

But you have to trust Him, even if no sense it makes,

When you lack understanding, it is hard to have trust,

But you must remember, those nails through Christ thrust,

He paid the price, for all of your sin,

And daily strives, your heart to win,

The price that He paid, on Calvary’s Tree,

Was the world’s greatest gift, and to all it is free

Now you must share, that all might know,

That if they but trust Him, to Heaven they will go,

The pain that you deal with, may now seem so great,

But what your Savior experienced, was a much bigger weight,

He gave His life blood, on Calvary,

He implores you to be faithful, until His face you see,

Your time here on earth, will soon have past,

The decisions you made, need to eternal last,

The struggles you faced, will then seem so small,

On that glorious day, when you hear the trumpet call,

So amidst all the struggles, and trials you face,

Don’t give in to the pressure, remember God’s grace,

No matter what happens, of this you can be sure,

God will reward you, if faithful you endure,
